Dreams are a way for the Unconscious to communicate with us while we sleep.  With dreamwork, we're working from the known to the Unknown.  The Unconscious uses images that are Known by the dreamer in order to reveal something not known.

Dreams are helpful because oftentimes we don't see the obvious in the waking state; so, that leaves the dream state as a place to inform us.

A Kabbalistic view of dreams offers the opportunity to look at the different levels that show up within the dream itself.  Some dreams clearly depict movement from one Kabbalistic Universe to another.  And, within any of the Universes, different aspects from the Tree of Life are revealed.
